Sample of first-year students

This sample includes students in all but one of the sections of EDHE 105, a class taken exclusively by incoming first year students in Fall 2011. Approximately 37% percent of first year students enrolled in this class. The tests were administered during a regular class period. Students are not informed that the test will take place prior to arriving at the class. This sample includes data for 1187 (test was administered to 1231 students, but 44 were excluded by ETS). ACT scores for all students enrolled in EDHE 105 are reported.

 

Sample of senior students

This sample includes students in senior classes Spring 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, & 2011. Classes are identified as containing at least 50 seniors and testing is conducted during a regular class period. Students are not informed that the test will take place prior to arriving at the class. This sample includes data for 397 students who self identified has being seniors (test was administered to 405, but 8 were excluded by ETS). ACT scores for students that self-identified as seniors with valid self-reported ID numbers are reported.
