Use of Results

The purpose of assessment is to identify areas for improvement. When criteria are not met and opportunities for improvement are identified, it is important to describe modifications made to the program or unit based on that data. Each assessment report must include uses of results for criteria not met. Likewise, even if all criteria are met, there must be a use of result to make an improvement.

Use of results can include:

  • Curricular modifications
  • Changes in policy
  • Process redesign
  • Revised service
  • Development/training
